LONDON: “No one has copyright on the Bhagwad Gita; it is meant for all. The Gita is not a dharma granth but a jeevan jeeney ki kala, (the art of leading a successful and fulfilling life),” Haryana industries and environment minister Vipul Goel said at the Gita Mahotsav, which was held recently.
Goel, who also held a Haryana road show to seek foreign investment, added, “In keeping with our traditional belief of ‘welfare for all’, we would like to share with the world the wisdom of the Gita.”
He told UK business leaders that India and the UK have always had strong historic ties and that his government would like to strengthen them further by offering good opportunities to invest in his state.
